TESLA: Houston Concert Postponed
June 14, 2004TESLA concert in Houston Sunday night (June 13) was postponed until Monday (June 14) after a major thunderstorm hit downtown Houston just prior to the doors opening at the Verizon Wireless Theater, leaving several blocks without power, including the venue and adjacent Hard Rock Cafe.
Tickets for Sunday's show will be honored Monday night, or refunds may be obtained at point of purchase.
TESLA's inability to perform in Houston due to no power is especially ironic when you consider that the band were originally named after Nikola Tesla, inventor of alternating current and radio.
